DARPA, NASA and SpaceX are headlining this year’s 45th Annual Space Congress scheduled for February 27 through March 1 at the Radisson Conference Center in Cape Canaveral. “The Next Great Steps” for the space industry is the theme for this year’s Space Congress® which highlights the latest, exciting and most relevant space initiatives.

Attendees will interact with such speakers as FAA Associate Administrator for Commercial Space Transportation Dr. George Nield, SpaceX’s Director of Commercial Crew Mission Management Benjamin Redd, KSC Director and former Astronaut Robert Cabana, and Scott Wierzbanowski, the Tactical Technology Office Program Manager for DARPA. In addition, addressing the creative side of space exploration and commerce will be The Artistic Astronaut Nicole Scott. The banquet speaker will be Major General Charles Bolden, Jr. USMC, Retired, Fmr. NASA Astronaut and NASA Administrator.
The three-day conference includes numerous panels and presentations including Multi-User Spaceport Programs, Integrating Unmanned Aircraft Systems into the National Airspace System, Space Transportation Innovation, and University Innovation Programs.
Space Congress also hosts an extensive exhibit hall which will be open to the public space enthusiasts who want to learn about the innovative work being done to propel the space sector well beyond our atmosphere.
