CBRCC’s Business Resource Council presents “Top 5 HR Compliance Challenges for Small Business”

MERRITT ISLAND, FL – The Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce’s (CBRCC) Business Resource Council (BRC) will present “Top 5 HR Compliance Challenges for Small Business,” on Tuesday, July 3rd from 8am – 9am in the Chamber’s Boardroom, 400 Fortenberry Rd., Merritt Island.

Small and medium sized companies are usually focused on core business issues, but  they tend to overlook one of their most potentially serious and costly issues — human resource compliance.  This seminar will focus on what to look out for and to prepare you for the main challenges of compliance. Overall, protecting and growing your business for the future.

The speaker will be Karen J. Gregory, President and Owner of HRSS Consulting Group, LLC.   As an independent consultant, she provides training and education, organizational development, research support, mediation, and human resource support to her clients.  Karen’s leadership and no-nonsense approach has enabled her to provide clients the responsive, personal attention and one-on-one relationship they deserve.  Her current clientele include organizations from both the government and private sectors. In addition to her consulting work, Karen is also a Major in the US Air Force Reserve currently serving with the 920th Rescue Wing, Patrick AFB, FL.  She previously served 13 years on active duty as a Behavior Scientist for the US Air Force.

The event is open to the public. The cost is free for Business Resource Council (BRC) members & $10 for Non-BRC members. Snacks & refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP to the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber at (321) 459-2200.
