Sports Image is a marketing service company that helps schools and other grassroots organizations obtain new equipment and revenue for programs. This is done via corporate sponsorships for advertising presence at local schools through signage, most commonly on the football and basketball scoreboards. President Bill Wood opened the franchise in November of 2009. Since then, Sports Image has worked with Bayside, Cocoa, Melbourne, Rockledge and Viera high schools.

Sports Image has a proven track record of success with simple turnkey systems and great support which allows me to provide a valuable service that I’m very proud to be associated with.
What advice would you give to other people who hope to start their own business? Find something that you believe in and are passionate about and align yourself with successful people who can mentor you and help you work through the inevitable challenges that you’ll face along the way.
What advantages are there for a local business to partner with the schools you’re helping?
There are a few key advantages that a business would gain by partnering with the local high schools and participating in their sponsorship programs including the great advertising and marketing opportunities at the school. The business gets to advertise to a captive audience of students, teachers, parents and others that are on campus on a regular basis and who repeatedly see the advertisement prominently displayed in a highly visible area of the school, usually the football stadium and/or basketball gym. There’s also the goodwill aspect of this form of marketing by partnering with a local school and building your brand in the community while helping support the school and students at the same time. Lastly, it’s a very cost effective marketing strategy that provides tremendous exposure over a long period of time at a very affordable price and not only entails large full color signage but also verbal endorsements through PA announcements as well as onsite brand promotions that allow the business advertiser to directly engage with the audience that they are marketing to.
