Stefan E. Joe-Yen, M.Sc.

Stefan Joe-Yen brings his fascination for advanced information processing systems theory and practice to the classroom as an instructor with Webster University’s graduate computer science program. His primary interest is exploring and exploiting artificial and biological information processing. He is currently an R&D Engineer, with Northrop Grumman Information Systems specializing in the development of pattern recognition and decision-support systems. Mr. Joe-Yen has published research on the neural correlates of visual perception including Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging studies of the human visual cortex and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Computer Information Systems with an emphasis in Machine Learning and Artificial Cognition.
