Satcom Direct provides global satellite communications to business aviation, military aviation – including to Heads of State, NATO and the Department of Defense – general aviation, land mobile and maritime customers.

This year, Satcom Direct and netDirective Technologies (now ndtArtemis) developed a Center for Excellence that will headquarter business operations for both companies.  Phase I of the Center for Excellence is scheduled to be completed in January 2013.  When done, this new campus will be a $15 million investment into Brevard County.

The two companies currently employ about 160 people; Satcom Direct has hired approximately 50 employees in the past eighteen months.
