From its start in 2003, Widerman Malek has taken a family and community-centered approach. Based in Melbourne with offices in Washington, D.C. and Evansville, Ind., the law firm specializes in intellectual property areas along with other fields such corporate law, commercial litigation, real estate, land use, estate planning, government contracts, and construction law.

Managing Partner Mark Malek is involved in his community and serves on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of the Space Coast (past chair,) the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast, the Maxwell C. King Center for the Performing Arts and The Bridges Foundation – among others.

The firm’s growth and community-centered attitude has allowed it to reach further into the community by starting the No Bad Days Foundation to help children with disabilities through the purchase of life-improving medical devices. Malek has described the firm as a “group of friends that are lucky enough to practice together.”
