Andrew Pickett Law, PLLC is headquartered in the Flatiron Building in Historic Downtown Melbourne.  Pickett has been a trial attorney for his entire career, with extensive jury trial experience in both criminal and civil law. He served four years as a prosecutor at the 18th Circuit State Attorney’s Office, where he tried more than 40 cases to verdict and received the Pride in Excellence Attorney of the Year Award in 2011 from State Attorney Norm Wolfinger. For the past five years, he has practiced civil trial law focusing primarily in personal injury and wrongful death cases. 

Pickett has been in Brevard County since 1987 and has deep ties to the community. He currently serves as the president of the Brevard County Bar Association and was appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to serve on the 18th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. He is a part-time instructor at the Law Enforcement Academy at Eastern Florida State College and a member of the boards for Circles of Care and Melbourne Main Street.  

Pickett achieved an “AV Preeminent” Rating by Martindale Hubbell in 2015, 2016, and 2017, and was recognized by Florida Super Lawyers magazine as a Rising Star. He has been selected to the National Trial Lawyers 40 Under 40 and the Nation’s Top One Percent of Attorneys by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel. ◆
