“In a crazy and often frightening year like 2020, it has become harder and harder to find family friendly and safe activities to get us out of the house without fear and worry. It’s been extraordinarily difficult to connect with our family near and far. It is our hope to give Brevard County families a fun and safe experience to enjoy the holidays while walking away with artwork that they can share with friends and families as a way to be bundled together, even though we are apart. 2020 forced a pause, bringing us home to reflect on the people we love most in this world, reminding us just how important it is to be together. I envision this event as being something new and unique to those of us in Florida and a way to create artwork that is brought out each year at Christmas time to always remember special holiday moments,” said Amy Misakonis.
The “Winter Wonderland” event is happening on Sunday, November 8th from 1PM to 5 PM. Only 15 sessions are currently available, by appointment only. Please call 386-235-4363 to inquire about availability.
About Amy Misakonis (owner Pink Pineapple Photography):
I’m Amy, founder of Pink Pineapple Photography, a creator of joy, not a photographer. I’m a mommy of 3 little boys. They have inspired me each and every day to try new and brave things.
It seemed as though time began to fly after I had them and before I knew it, my first baby was in kindergarten. It became important to me to start capturing those sweet little moments before they were gone. That is why I started Pink Pineapple, so that I can do the same for you.
I focus on creating unique artwork for your home that embodies the spirit of your family, your children, and locks in the love and emotions in your life so that you can forever look at your art and be transported back to those long passed moments, hearing the laughter of your children, and celebrating your biggest life moments.
My “petite” or mini-sessions proceeds are always donated to a local charitable organization. It is important to me to give back to our community and to help those in need. I am a life long supporter of local charities and have been a successful fundaiser for more than 15 years. I have been a wish granter for Make-A-Wish Foundation, raised thousands for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and will continue to give back and raise my children to also know the value of supporting others in need.
