Rockledge FL – July, 2019 – The Brevard Health Alliance has announced plans to expand their Barton Commons/Rockledge location. The expansion will include 15,000 added square feet to the building in order to provide additional services and serve patients more efficiently. The proposed changes will also feature the addition of supplementary service lines at the clinic, to include expanded women’s health care services, pediatric urgent care, and pharmaceutical services.
The Brevard Health Alliance is partnering with the Space Coast Health Foundation and the Health Resources and Services Administration on the expansion project with a total cost of $2,000,000. In addition to all of its current features, the expanded space will include additional adult medicine exam rooms, a dedicated pediatric unit, and a new regional pharmacy. The goal of the renovation is to expand access to quality healthcare for both existing and new patients.
The Brevard Health Alliance has been serving Brevard County since first opening its doors in March of 2005. Since then, it has opened 8 fixed locations and 1 mobile unit providing a wide variety of services including family medicine, women’s healthcare, dental services, pediatric urgent care, and more. The organization offers discounted fees based on income and family size for uninsured patients, and accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and a variety of other insurance plans in order to provide care for as many patients in Brevard County as possible.
