
MERRITT ISLAND, FL – Coasters Taphouse took top honors as the People’s Choice winner with their Seafood Mac n Cheese & Beef Tenderloin Sliders with beer-braised onions on Herb Butter toasted Brioche at the 5th Annual Taste of the Coast presented by the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce.
“The event was a huge success! We are thankful for having such great support from our local community. We are looking forward to hosting the event again next year,” said Jennifer Sugarman, CBRCC CEO & President.
Over three hundred and fifty people attended the event Friday evening, September 28th at the Cocoa Beach Country Club. Thirteen food & beverage vendors gave the public a chance to sample their delicious appetizers, entrees, desserts & beverages. Eighteen local business vendors displayed their information and products. Also, those who attended enjoyed winning prices from the 98.5 The Beach Spin-to-win wheel, bidding on over 50 silent auction baskets & listening to live music by the Gypsy Rain Band.
Coasters Taphouse was presented the 1st place People’s Choice Award, determined by a popular vote of the attendees. Rising Tide tap and table received 2nd place People’s Choice and Florida’s Fresh Grill received 3rd place. The Best Decorated Vendor Table went to the Brevard Humane Society.
