Ella Crow has dedicated more than 26 years to the property and casualty field, currently serving as vice president and partner of Insurance Office of America (IOA), the ninth largest privately owned insurance broker in the United States.
She started her insurance career in Tampa for a large publicly traded broker as an entry-level worker. After six months, she was quickly promoted and given a career path for commercial property and casualty insurance. In 1996, her husband was reassigned to Patrick Air Force Base, and she had to leave her job and start with a new broker. “The wonderful thing about having a portable profession is being able to relocate and keep building on your experience,” Crow commented.
She added, “My mission is to educate the consumer on their purchase of property and casualty insurance first, and then make the sale.”
