The Women’s Business Center at Florida Institute of Technology announced a Nov. 15 deadline for local business owners and entrepreneurs to apply for participation in the IGNITE 360 Pathways, Advantage or Premier mentoring programs.

The programs are tailored to businesses in various stages of growth and will begin in January 2015 at the Women’s Business Center in the Florida Tech Commons building, 150 W. University Blvd. in Melbourne.

The three IGNITE 360 programs target different participants.

  • IGNITE 360 Pathways is for startup entrepreneurs. This three-month workshop and tailored mentoring program is designed to give these fledgling business people the business savvy and tools they need to turn their entrepreneurial ideas into reality. The program meets every two weeks beginning in January for a total of six workshops.
  • IGNITE 360 Advantage is for existing businesses seeking to build a strong foundation for growth. This six-month program provides intensive mentoring and an advisory board that meets with each business owner monthly to determine strategic goals and next steps for the business.
  • IGNITE 360 Premier is for more experienced, second-stage companies with higher revenues and employee count. A tailored, six-month track with a personal advisory board tied to each business owner’s specific goals for growth, succession and other key elements is a major part of this program.

IGNITE 360 graduates have reported rapid growth, revenue increases, goal clarification, sustainability, the development of powerful professional alliances and new hires.

“IGNITE 360 programs give business owners the tools they need to keep their businesses growing,” said IGNITE 360 Director Jeannette Kraar. “Setting clear goals and preparing for upcoming challenges empower businesses. We’ve been pleased to see our IGNITE graduates experience great success and look forward to helping the 2015 participants grow their businesses.”
