Kari Tesenair has quietly risen through the ranks of Christian Care Ministry, a healthcare sharing organization headquartered in Melbourne. She joined the organization as an IT project manager overseeing such projects as the implementation of Electronic Data Exchange (EDI) for CCM’s provider bills, as well as other member-related IT projects. Within her first year, she was promoted to a management position, and by the end of her third year she was elevated to her current position as director of program management. This department handles the project management and process improvement initiatives for the ministry. Tesenair is second in command to the vice president of program management.
Tesenair, who is continually challenged to use her skills to better her team, the ministry and its members, joined Christian Care Ministry in 2014 after stints at Health First and Harris Corporation. She welcomed the opportunity to work for a faith-based company. “When I was offered the position at Christian Care Ministry, I thought it was too good to be true,” Tesenair said. “Here was an amazing company growing in size with innovative technology that was also faith-based. It was something I couldn’t pass up.”
Tesenair has a Bachelor of Science in Management of Information Systems from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Business Administration from Webster University. She also holds a PMP certification from PMI.org. A Melbourne resident for the better part of 30 years, she has a passion for music and serves on her church worship team with her husband.
