Joan Berry Nassar graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Business/Marketing and from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1990. A er practicing with several local attorneys, she established her own rm, Joan Berry Nassar, P.A., in 2001.
Nassar practices exclusively in the area of family law. She handles issues such as divorces, alimony, child custody (which includes establishing a parenting plan/ timesharing schedule and child support), property issues, paternity, stepparent adoptions, contempt/enforcement, relocation, and domestic violence injunction matters. She is a Supreme Court-certified family and appellate mediator, trained in the collaborative law process and is a guardian ad litem.
