Matt Barringer has appeared on the business and social scene like a tornado, taking a leadership role in all he participates in. Matt cares about people, cares about North Brevard and cares about Titusville.” That is how Bobby Socks of the Veterans Memorial Foundation in Titusville described Barringer.

Cindy Albright of the Titusville Chamber was even more glowing: “I have the opportunity of interfacing with many business professionals. Yet, every once in a while you come across an individual who takes helping people more seriously than the bottom line; the amazing thing about a person like this is that usually their business is booming as well. These are the qualities I have found in Matt Barringer. Matt is relentless in helping. And it’s more than just doing a good turn; Matt has become a leader in civic organizations.”

Barringer is Vice President of The Dance Place of Brevard and the nonprofit Dance Out Loud, which brings dance opportunities to underprivileged youth. In addition, he serves as a community liaison with Vitas Innovative Hospice Care.  There he serves by meeting with and personally helping families identify resources that are available within the community.

When asked what Matt’s favorite quote was, he replied, “The U. S. Army Ranger Creed in total, but emphasis to ‘I will shoulder more than my share of the task whatever it may be, one-hundred-percent and then some.’”
