Pete Barr, Jr. has been in the ad business for over 30 years, starting out at The Orlando Sentinel in advertising space sales. In 1987, he joined his dad at Fry Hammond Barr, Inc. as an account executive. From that start, Barr eventually grew into the role of president and CEO in 2002. The ad business has changed immensely in the past three decades, and Pete has worked through the changes and in his role leads this continual evolution at FHB.
Fry Hammond Barr is not just an ad agency, PR firm, design studio or digital shop, but a team of marketing communications thinkers and doers with a wide range of expertise and services. Representing a mix of “b to b” and “b to c” clients across categories like travel/tourism/hospitality, healthcare, retail, restaurant and high tech, FHB has enjoyed client partnerships that have lasted decades.
The oldest still operating agency in the state, FHB has been a member of the American Association of Advertising Agencies since 1963.
