Celeste Notardonato CPA, MBA is the president and CFO of The Integration Factory, a premier systems integration firm with more than 160 years of combined experience in all aspects of low-voltage systems design and installation with a specialization in Audio/Visual, Control, Access Control and Surveillance Systems. Notardonato is also the president and CFO of Archangel Engineering & Construction, a construction and engineering firm specializing in commercial and residential buildings. She has spent most of her career as a consultant specializing in building and cleaning up companies for venture capitalists, investors and firms in a wide variety of industries. She became proficient at handling companies’ problems, either by putting each company back on track or providing an exit strategy.
Around 2009, Notardonato came across two separate groups of highly skilled technical people in different but complementing industries (low voltage integration, and construction and engineering) that needed companies to call home. She made the decision to leave consulting and build these entities, operating with shared common overhead personnel and facilities.
As a woman owner in male-dominated industries with national and state MBE certifications, Notardonato has had to perform under scrutiny and prove herself to vendors and clients. Because of this, Notardonato holds a Florida CPA and a Florida Electrical license, and has also acquired her Nevada Electrical license. Her journey has been interesting, and one she credits to the amazing and valuable employees who are a part of each company.
The shift from consultant to business owner has been challenging with the added stress of understanding that employees depend on the owner for their families’ livelihood. Notardonato does not take that responsibility lightly and is conscious of it in every decision she makes.
She is the youngest of eight children and volunteers as president of MIHS Soccer Booster Club and is a member of the BB&T Community Board.
