At the age of 13, Kit Fisher chose to go into business, working for himself. He began mowing grass for cash, marketing door to door. Quickly, a couple yards became a thriving business. Five years in the Florida heat led to a pursuit of a college education. Using the sale of his business, Fisher paid his way through the UCF College of Business while working full time as a kitesurfing and surf instructor. He planted roots in the Space Coast because of a love for the coastal lifestyle. Upon graduation, he became a licensed consultant for Prime-One Insurance and began advising companies and individuals. In two years, after undergoing exhaustive training and time in the field, Prime-One’s president/CEO asked Fisher to fill the role of executive vice president. In conjunction with his role at Prime-One, Fisher serves as chair of ENGAGE Young Professionals and lives the coastal lifestyle.
